Authorised processor

The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic has authorised us to process end-of-life vehicles of categories M1, N1 and L2 (decision No. 110/A/04-6.2). Under Waste Act No. 79/2015 Coll. only an authorised processor may process an end-of-life vehicle.

Why not an illegal dump

An end-of-life vehicle is hazardous waste because it contains oils, brake and coolant fluids, and airbag and seat-belt pretensioner detonators. Illegal disposal endangers soil and water – and the last holder is responsible for it.

Acceptance conditions

  • The vehicle must be complete – at least 90 % of the weight stated in the technical certificate, including engine, catalytic converter, gearbox, body and axles.
  • The vehicle does not need to run, does not need a valid MOT or emission check and may be crashed.
  • Incomplete vehicles are accepted under § 65(1)(n) of Act No. 79/2015 Coll.
  • If the vehicle is complete, towing a non-running vehicle within 25 km of Trnava is free. Other cases by agreement.
  • Paperwork is handled after inspecting the vehicle at our yard on working days from 7:00 to 14:30.
  • The vehicle must be deregistered within 3 working days of being parked at our yard; after that we charge €6.50 per day.

  • registration certificate part I and part II (if issued) and technical certificate
  • 2 licence plates

What you get

  1. 1We record the data in the information system and, if the documents are in order, the vehicle is automatically removed from the central register in Bratislava.
  2. 2The last holder receives a free certificate of deregistration or of acceptance for processing. The police issue the deregistration protocol based on this certificate.
  3. 3After deregistration you can cancel the compulsory and comprehensive insurance. If you paid for a longer period, the insurer refunds the overpayment.

Deregistration fails in roughly 5 % of cases for reasons outside our control.
